Rundeck is software that helps manage system operations without requiring escalation to subject matter experts for every situation. Rundeck maintains the knowledge required to perform an action, which allows routine tasks to be handled by people without some of the expert knowledge. The software is available in an open source a paid for version. The open source version has most of the capabilities of the paid for version and may well be a starting point to try out the software to see if it will meet your requirements.
